NY ファッションウィークのランウェイデビュー決定

衣装作家の髙倉公美、率いる Satomi,el beso が、9 月 11 日にニューヨーク クリントン・マーカンタイル／Clinton Mercantile (639 W 46th St. New York)で行われるニューヨークファッシ ョンウィーク内「Global Fashion Collective／グローバルファッションコレクティブ」のSHOW II にて、クロージングを務めることが決まりました。

 

Bringing Japanese idol culture to the world!

Satomi,el beso, led by costume designer Satomi Takakura, will be appearing at the Äb0Global Fashion Collective during New York Fashion Week, which will be held at Äb0Clinton Mercantile (639 W 46th St. New York) on September 11th. It has been Äb0decided that Äb0Satomi,el beso Äb0will be the closing act Äb0of Äb0SHOW II. Äb0

Her first debut collection of Global Fashion Collective Showcase in Vancouver, Canada this spring was received roaring applause, and now join the debut collection of New York Fashion Week with full preparation.

Satomi, el beso がランウェイを行う「Global Fashion Collective（GFC）」は 2017 年に発足され、新進気鋭のデザイナーからベテランまでをサポートし、世界中の多様なファッション都市で独占的なランウェイ・ショーケースを提供しています。東京・パリ・ロンドン・ミラノ・ニューヨークで行われるファッションウィークは、各デザイナーがグローバルブランドとしての存在感を高め、国際的な露出を増やし、新たな市場を開拓することを目的として開催されています。

エンターテイメントの街ニューヨークで開かれる N Y ファッションウィークの初舞台を踏むSatomi,el beso は、前回のバンクーバー同様、日本のアイドル文化を牽引する 1 人、松隈ケンタ氏を音楽プロデューサーに迎え、サンブラスアニメーション代表の林瑛介氏、アニメクリエ ーターの内田涼介氏らによる映像と共に、ランウェイを創造いたします。さらに、今回は世界で活躍するメークアップアーティストであり、ヘッドピースデザイナーである LIMO 氏と、日本人ネイルデザイナーでアーティスティックなランウェイを自らプロデュースする永田のぶ子氏が、 Satomi, el beso の「#if 1 2024SS コレクション」を彩ります。

◆About Global Fashion Collective (GFC) 

GLOBAL FASHION COLLECTIVE (GFC), is a platform supporting creative designers from around the world. The collective produces runway shows in different fashion capitals with the aim to accelerate the designer’s global development, increase their international media visibility, and open new markets. Global Fashion Collective is an expansion from Vancouver Fashion Week, presenting its designers in front of international media and buyers globally. A diverse line-up of hand-picked talent from around the world will showcase their designs.

Idols show us illusions in reality. They are real people who provide you dreamy time. Through this show, we spread Japanese idol culture and people from all over the world gather to see Japanese idols. We will produce a successful runway with such a centripetal force

◆ Satomi,el beso is …

Satomi, el beso, which will make its debut at New York Fashion Week in the entertainment city of New York, has Kenta Matsukuma, one of the leaders of Japanese idol culture, as the music producer just like in Vancouver last time. We will also create a runway together with the original video by Eisuke Hayashi, representative of San Blas Animation, Mr. Ryosuke Uchida, an anime creator. Furthermore, LIMO, an internationally active makeup artist and headpiece designer, and Nobuko Nagata, a Japanese nail designer who herself produces artistic runways, is taking their parts in Satomi, el beso’s “#if 1” 2024SS Collection.

プログラミングに使われる C 言語に由来するコレクション名「#if1」。自分たちのショーは必ず有効になるという願いを込めて臨んだ、2023 年 4 月のバンクーバーの次のステージとなるニ ューヨークで、Satomi, el beso が打ち出す「#if1」がどんな進化を遂げるのか、国内外を問わず、多くの人々が注目しています。

◆ About “#if1”

The collection name “#if1” is derived from the C language used for programming. With the hope that their show will definitely be effective, they will be in New York on September 11th 2023 for the next stage after Vancouver. It will be exciting to see how the “#if1” will evolve in the city of New York. Many people are paying attention at home and abroad.

＜髙倉公美プロフィール＞
衣装ブランド「Satomi,el beso」チーフデザイナー。カフェで出会った老紳士から技術を学び、服飾デザイナーの道を歩み始める。以来、20 年にわたって服飾デザイナー、衣装作家として、舞台衣装や企業の制服など幅広い作品制作を手掛けている。近年はアイドルの衣装制作をメインに活動。2023 年 4 月にバンクーバーでのショーを成功させ、ニューヨークのファッションウィークへの招待を勝ち取る。

“I want to make Japanese idol culture a hit to the people around the world.”

It’s been 20 years since I decided to become a costume designer for musicians in Jamaica. After receiving great acclaim at this year’s Vancouver Fashion Week in Canada, I earned the right to create a runway show at New York Fashion Week. I want to do my best to involve the New York audience and present Japanese subculture to the world. Please look forward to Satomi, el beso’s runway show with fabulous music and video!

〈Satomi Takakura〉

Satomi Takakura is a chief designer of costume brand “Satomi,el beso”. She learned techniques from an elderly gentleman she met at a cafe and began her career as a clothing designer. Since then, she has been working as a costume designer for 20 years, producing a wide range of works including stage costumes and corporate uniforms. In recent years, she has been mainly creating costumes for idols. In April 2023, she successfully hold her runway show in Vancouver and won the invitation to New York Fashion Week.
